In cooperation with Bas van Tol, Catharina designed for the Textile Museum in Tilburg
a soft pallette of colours for the knitted blinds for the museum's conference halls.

DUTCH DESIGN IN DEVELOPMENT / CHAKANA, 2009
In pursuit of the development of accessories for interior design, Catharina travelled to Bolivia on assignment
by Dutch Design in Development and the Chakana Foundation. Catharina created a collection of high quality, woven
alpaca wool accessories for distribution on the European market. This endeavour is part of a larger project
aimed at improving the living conditions of the high-land Indians in the South American Andes.

MATERIAL/ COLOUR TRENDS, 2009
Toonkamer, a center for interior design, asked Catharina Idema to give a lecture to architects and interior architects about 5 trends in materials and colours for 2011. This material card explained the theme 'work in progress' . In cooperation with Gonnie Constansia.
